FAQ's
We regularly get asked all
sorts of questions and are happy to answer your
enquiries, but below are the most Frequently
Asked Questions we hear, hopefully your query
is covered, of not then please give us a
call.
What is your minimum/maximum
number for a party?
We have no real minimums, but if you only have
a few children we may combine rides with
another smaller party and sometimes
availability is not as flexible, but call us an
ask the question. We don't really have a
maximum numbers and regularly have 40-50 guests
on site.
How many adults can I
bring?
We ask that you bring 1 Adult for every 4
children, if the children are 5and over, and 1
adult for every 2 children, if the children are
under 5. At this ratio the Adults are free,
every other adult will be charged at half the
child ticket price.
How long do parties last
for?
Check out our party packages price
page for details but we say
under 8's usually enjoy an hour long party,
over 8's have a bit more stamina and so go for
a 1.5 to 2 hour party. But it's up to you as
you know your children best! But if you were to
book an SAS party for 10 children and for them
to eat before or after then the whole time on
site would be somewhere in the region
of two and a half hours.
When are your
partys?
We only run our Party Tank site at weekends but
we do get booked solid at busy times, so do
call early to avoid disappointment. However we
do offer a mid week kids party called the
outward bound party, call for more
details.
What if it rains/What should I
wear?
We still do your event! So dress accordingly,
wet weather gear and waterproof footwear. If it
is sunny please wear sturdy footwear and long
trousers and long sleeved tops for
protection
What are outdoor
games?
We have a number of
bats and balls, swingball and other
activities availbale for use by our guests
before or after their party.
Can I just drop in
anytime?
Sorry but it
is pre-booked parties only, you are
welcome to come and view our facilities if you
are thinking of booking but do call ahead to
let us know you're coming and we can welcome
you.
Is
it suitable for disabled
people?
Yes and no, yes in that we welcome anyone
onsite and have had many different ages and
abilities, but our site whilst conforming to
health and safety regulations is not
specifically adapted for the disabled
especially if the ground is wet, we are in a
field after all. However we do have staff who
are willing to adapt to any situation and we
would be happy to discuss your needs
further.
Can
younger siblings ride in
the tank?
Unfortunately the pre-booked number of guests
is all we can cater for due to space
restrictions and we cannot have
mixed groups of under 5 and over 5 on the
same ride due to our insurance terms. But they
can watch (if supervised) and maybe
they you book for their next
birthday!
Do the paintballs hurt/are they
messy/ is protection
available?
Our paintball facility is a range only, that
means the guests stand behind a marked position
and shoot at a target, this is the same for all
our gun activities.
Is there somewhere to
eat?
We do have a field canteen to supply food for
our parties, and you are welcome to have a
picnic on site, however our guests who have
paid for food have prioroty for the chairs and
tables, we're sure you
understand.
Can I pay by credit
card?
Unfortuantely no. The
charges for the facility would have to be
passed along to you and we try to reduce our
costs to a minimum. With Internet banking most
people are able to make a transfer just as
easily for zero cost otherwise a deposit
directly into our bank account by visitng a
branch of Barclays is usually a simple
alternative.
What time do we turn
up?
Try to arrive on site 15 minutes before your
booking to allow for parking, signing in and
allocation of instructors.
Where are you?
We're near Cobham in Surrey, 5 minutes from
junction 10 on the M25 where the A3 joins it.
Specific directions and a map are given on
booking.
Do the paintballs
hurt?
When fired at close range, yes, yes they can
do. But we DO NOT have the facility for
paintball comabt scenarios. Our paintballing is
on a range, where guests fire paintballs at
inanimate targets. So therefore it's perfectly
pain free!
Can I bring a
cake?
Yes. Give it to us on arrival and
we'll sort out the cutting and the plates
etc... Just let us know on
arrival.
Is it
dangerous?
No more than your average Theme
Park ride. Just listen to our instructors
and you'll have a happy, safe and
enjoyable
time.

Safety is of
utmost importance and we actively promote it at
all times, particularly in the use of Party
Tank guns and vehicles. We discourage any gun
ownership by children. All events may be
photographed and filmed for marketing
purposes.
